Akim of Turkestan region Nuralkhan Kusherov met with veterans and intellectuals of the region. He appealed to the elders to hear their opinions on a number of pressing issues. I discussed important issues and listened to their suggestions and advice. The elders shared their views on the development of the region and offered constructive ideas for its further improvement.
The meeting was moderated by Chairman of the regional maslikhat Nuraly Abishov. Discussing the topic of the meeting, each of the participants expressed their opinion.
Chairman of the regional branch of the republican public association "Organization of Veterans" Zhenisbek Maulenkulov, Chairman of the public association "Council of Elders of the Turkestan region" Zharylkasyn Aziretbergenuly, public figure and entrepreneur Serikzhan Seitzhanov, public figure Beket Turgarayev, Chairman of the Council of Public Accord at the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan of the Turkestan region Sozakbai Abdikulov, literary critic and professor Kulbek Ergobek, spoke in an open dialogue. Ikram Hashimzhanov, Chairman of the Republican Uzbek ethnocultural Association. They discussed issues of preserving the unity of the people, increasing the potential of the region, current problems of the region and issues of educating the younger generation.
The head of the region noted the contribution of labor veterans to the development of the region and the life of society, adding that others should know about the merits of honorable people and learn from their example. After listening to the proposals, the mayor spoke about the socio-economic development of the region and called for joint work.:
"This is not just a meeting, but an important dialogue about topical issues that concern society today. People say: Luck awaits the Blessed One. After being appointed to a responsible position by the Head of State, I considered it important, first of all, to get the opinion of the older generation. It is a great responsibility and duty for me to serve the Turkestan region, where I was born and raised. I will use all my knowledge and experience to develop the field. I am confident that we will work together to improve the socio-economic situation. We need to efficiently carry out the instructions of the President and the Government. Your contribution to preserving the unity of the people and educating the youth is invaluable. We will rely on your experience and knowledge for the development of Turkestan. May our new beginnings bear fruit, and the Turkestan region will become one of the most developed regions of the country!"
At the end of the meeting, the elders and intellectuals expressed their opinions on a number of issues, each of which was taken into account by the head of the region, and wished the Governor of the region success in his future work. In total, more than 70 labor veterans and representatives of the creative intelligentsia took part in the meeting.
The meeting ended with a solemn event.
