Another raid was conducted in the Baikonur district of the capital to identify and prevent the illegal sale of tobacco and non-smoking tobacco products, the official website of the Astana Akimat reports.
During the event, 5 objects located on A. Pushkin and Zh streets were checked. Tarkhan, preventive clarifications have been conducted on the illegal sale of non-smoking tobacco products.
As a result of the raid on two points where illegal sales were detected, a fine of 25 monthly calculation indices (MCI) was imposed, the owners were brought to administrative responsibility in accordance with Article 196 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (CAO), and about 1.5 kg of hay was also seized.
In order to prevent the use of non-smoking tobacco products, a working group for the city of Astana has been established. Raids in this direction are regularly carried out in all districts of the city.
It should be noted that the raids continue in all six districts of the capital.
