Another raid was conducted in the capital aimed at identifying cases of illegal sale of non-smoking tobacco products, vapes, flavorings and liquids for them. The event was organized by employees of the akimat of Saraishyk district and the Police Department, the official website of the city akimat reports.
Law enforcement officers stressed the importance of preventive work among entrepreneurs and emphasized the need to inform shopkeepers and customers about the consequences of violating the ban on the sale of vapes and snus, as well as the dangers of their use.
"During the inspection, four retail facilities were examined, preventive measures were carried out to sell products prohibited for sale in accordance with current legislation. In case of violations, both criminal and administrative liability are provided," said Aybek Negmetov, district inspector of the Saraishyk district Police Department.
Outlets that illegally sell non-smoking tobacco products and vapes may face a fine of 25 MCI or about 98,300 tenge.
