This year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, which plays a special role in strengthening interethnic harmony and unity in Kazakhstan. In his speech at the XXXIII session of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan entitled "Unity. Creativity. Progress", the Head of State specifically touched upon the issue of strengthening the institutional capacity of the Assembly, It was noted that the organization needs to improve its relations with state bodies, Parliament, and maslikhats. At the same time, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev tasked the Assembly leaders with actively participating in the state decision-making process and promoting reforms, identifying hotbeds of ethno-social tension and paying special attention to preventing such incidents, and strengthening the Assembly as an institution that promotes social integrity and patriotism.
– Our fate, intertwined by history, is one, our future, towards which we step with confidence, is one. As a united nation, we will always We will be faithful to the legacy of our ancestors. Together, we will create a bright future for our sacred home - Kazakhstan. Our goal is clear, it is to create a Just Kazakhstan. I consider the protection of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan to be my main task as President, - said Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
Unity and solidarity are the ultimate goal of state policy. On this occasion, an important meeting of the AKP City Council was held in the "House of Friendship" in our city, chaired by Sarsen Kuranbek, Deputy Mayor of the city, Deputy Chairman of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan.
The main issue on the agenda was the plan for organizing and holding approved events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan in the city, and proposals were adopted.
- Maintaining the unity and harmony of the country is the most important task entrusted to us. In this regard, members of the city Assembly, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, public structures under the city's People's Congress, ethno-cultural associations, and the Public Accord Institution and district akims, sectoral departments, and educational institutions must organize the activities outlined in this plan at the highest level. The goal should not only be to organize and hold events, but also to reveal the content of each event and the importance of public harmony and national unity, - said Sarsen Abayuly.
The agenda included the consideration and approval of the list of candidates nominated by the Shymkent City Assembly to the republican composition of the ANC.
In addition, changes were made to the composition of the city's ANC, and the council members decided to make additions and changes to the structure of the organization. The commission for public accreditation of ethnocultural associations was reviewed and changes to the composition of the commission were proposed.
The procedure for exchanging opinions, making decisions and voting on the agenda items during the meeting was implemented. Yuri Pan, the chairman of the Korean Association, shared his plans for the 30th anniversary of the Assembly, expressing his active participation in every initiative, and proposed the idea of holding a 30 Good Deeds Challenge. The idea was well received by the public and received support from Sarsen Abayuly.
This event will be an important step towards strengthening interethnic harmony in Shymkent and strengthening the role of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan. The 30th anniversary of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan is a bright reflection of peace and unity. The Shymkent ANC is making every effort to celebrate this anniversary at a worthy level and is planning to hold special events.
It should be noted that as part of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Assembly, it is planned to organize more than 150 events of various formats, involving at least 1.5 million people in the country and abroad.
