The reporting and election conference of the Kazakhstan Volleyball Federation (KFW) was held in Almaty, where Madi Takiyev was elected the new president of the organization for the period from 2024 to 2028. He replaced Nurtai Abykayev in this post.
In his speech, the new head of the KFW sincerely thanked the delegates for their trust, and invited Nurtai Abykayev to become the honorary president of the federation and head the Board of Trustees of the KFW.
Madi Takiyev also recalled that Kassym-Jomart Tokayev instructed to review the policy of financing sports in our country. In particular, clubs and federations should begin actively forming a sponsorship pool, focusing on the development of mass sports even in the most remote corners of Kazakhstan, and should also strengthen the training of their own athletes.
