First deputy akim of the region Zulpykhar Zholdasov paid a special business visit to Kentau and visited a number of facilities.
First went to the sewage water treatment station, which was located at the entrance to the city. In order to fully cover the city's population with the sewer system and increase the productivity of the sewage pumping station, design and estimate documentation is being developed. According to the project, a new sewage treatment station will be installed on a land plot of 40 hectares. This, in turn, will increase the coverage of the city's residents with the sewer system. According to the mayor of the city Zhandos Tasov, 78.1% of the city's residents are provided with sewerage.
During the visit, he got acquainted with the modernization of multi-storey residential buildings. Today, 288 out of 377 multi-storey residential buildings in Kentau have been completely renovated. In addition, last year, 38 multi-storey residential buildings were financed from the Republican budget for major repairs, of which 25 were completed. And the roof of the remaining 13 multi-storey residential buildings was replaced.
In addition, he got acquainted with the project of reconstruction of D. Kunayev Avenue in the city in order to connect it to the bypass road to the International Airport. If the project is implemented, residents of Kentau will have the opportunity to get to Turkestan airport and Shymkent via the airport highway. As a result, the number of cars on the Kh-190 Turkestan – Kentau highway will decrease.
Let us recall that last year new multi-storey residential buildings were transferred for the benefit of the population. During the visit, the first deputy akim of the region checked the construction of the house and the condition of the ditch system passing through the Salikha-Ana shopping center. In the spring, industry experts were instructed to monitor the quality of gutters that are being built on streets that are threatened with flooding.
