Work on the development of the machine-building industry has begun in the Turkestan region. It is planned to open a production facility in the region for the production of domestic small-sized specialized machinery and utility attachments. The plant will be located on the territory of the small industrial park "SPK Turkistan". Akim of the region Nuralkhan Kusherov got acquainted with the investment projects and visited the enterprise of BNK GROUP LTD LLP in Sauransky district.
According to the plan, the company is designed to produce 1,000 units of specialized equipment per year. The project is scheduled to be implemented this year. It should be noted that it was at this plant that the production of sprinklers began for the first time in Kazakhstan. Demand for products made in Turkestan has already increased. The company, together with the American company Nelson Irrigation, has launched the production of circular and frontal sprinklers under the BNK Irrigation brand. In accordance with the President's instructions, this project will allow the introduction of water-saving technologies on an area of 216.3 thousand hectares of the region by 2030.
The Governor of the region also visited the production site of the Jasyl Suyq Kazakhstan company, which manufactures refrigeration and freezing equipment. The Bulgarian holding UBC Group, which exports its products to Central Asian countries, has decided to open two large production lines in the Turkestan region. 5 million euros will be allocated for the first stage of the project, which will create about 350 jobs in the territory of the SPK Turkmenistan production park. The second enterprise will be built in the Turan special economic zone, where 7.5 billion tenge will be invested. It is planned to produce up to 10,000 units of refrigeration equipment per month, as well as create 1,000 jobs.
In addition, the mayor was presented with the project of the exhibition center. This facility will be used for trade, services, company presentations, exhibitions and other events. The project will be implemented in accordance with European standards.
The industrial park will be built on an area of 100 hectares in two stages. A total of 151 buildings are planned to be built. Construction and installation works are carried out at the expense of JSC "Social and Entrepreneurial Corporation Turkestan" and private investors. At the first stage, 30 hectares of land have been allocated, provided with infrastructure and communications. To date, the construction of 10 buildings has been completed. Last year, 8 production facilities were launched with an investment volume of 36.5 billion tenge, 712 new jobs were created. The mayor took the project under his personal control.
In the first quarter of this year, it is planned to launch 16 buildings, each with an area of 1,584 square meters, with the possibility of increasing the area if necessary. At the second stage, in 2025-2026, 112 more buildings will be built on an area of 70 hectares, which will also house production facilities.
