In the address of the head of state Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to the people of Kazakhstan, 2025 was declared the "Year of working professions". In this regard, a meeting of the Working Group was held under the chairmanship of Deputy akim of Turkestan region Beisenbai Tazhibayev. The event plan for holding the" Year of working professions " was considered and proposals for making additions were heard.
The deputy akim of the region instructed the akimats of districts, cities and industry departments to develop a clear plan and act systematically throughout the year.
-The implementation of the instructions of our president Kassym-Jomart Kemelovich is under close control. For the unified launch of state mechanisms, we need such initiatives. This should not be taken as a" one-time measure". Measures to be carried out for the report are not necessary. Take the work with the utmost compassion and responsibility. There are enough working people in our region. There are citizens who have started a business through a state grant, enjoy the program "Auyl amanaty", and farmers who contribute to the development of the region's economy. Their merits are not ignored. It is necessary to increase the prestige of workers, to pay special attention to the promotion of Labor. It is necessary not just words, but a shake – up, - said Beisenbai Dauletovich.
30 out of 50 colleges in Turkestan region train people of professional specialties. Working professions are taught. More than 40 thousand students receive technical and vocational education. More than 15 thousand grants will be allocated to colleges in the region this academic year.
At the meeting, deputy head of the Regional Department of Education Aigul Kassymbekova reported on the work being done. According to him, in Turkestan region it is planned to hold 60 events in 6 directions dedicated to the "year of working professions". The plan has specific tasks for each department. In particular, it is planned to celebrate professional holidays at a high level, organize career guidance work and excursions, hold regional forums with the participation of young leaders of working professions, skill competitions, sessions on personnel training at the regional and national levels, develop regional maps of personnel needs, popularize the image of a working person, and hold competitions for the best specialists.
The actual work on holding the" year of working professions " will be under the direct supervision of the Akim of the region.
