TRAINING OF TALENTED STUDENTS UNDER THE BOLASHAK PROGRAM: SENATORS APPROVED THE RELEVANT LAW
Today, deputies of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan approved the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Amendments and additions to certain Legislative Acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on culture, education and mentoring".
The purpose of the Law is to further improve national legislation in the field of expanding the scope of the State language, strengthening its status, protecting children's rights and education.
Thus, the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Culture" is being amended to provide for the creation of the National Dictionary Fund of the Kazakh language, as a state information system providing access to the dictionary fund of the Kazakh language, the creation of a National Corpus of the Kazakh language, as an information and reference system containing texts of all styles and genres of the Kazakh language, the formation of a large language model based on on an artificial neural network, for processing, generating and analyzing texts in the Kazakh language.
Also, in order to provide state support to talented students and stimulate their scientific activities, the Law "On Education" provides for the provision of state educational grants out of competition for winners and prize-winners of international scientific project competitions.
The adoption of the Law will contribute to the implementation of the State's policy on the development of the state language, as well as improve the quality of legislation in the areas of child rights protection and education.
