In Karaganda, work has been completed on three launch complexes of the first stage of gasification. About 7 thousand houses of the New Town, Mikhaylovka and Staraya Mikhaylovka received access to natural gas. 3,385 households already use blue fuel, and connection requests have been approved for 4,209 subscribers.
– Last year, work began on the construction and launch of the fourth, fifth and sixth launch complexes. They cover Kirzavod-1, 2, 3, 4, the Taugul and Kungey microdistricts, as well as Fedorovka and Bolshaya Mikhaylovka," said Deputy Akim of the city Kairat Kamzin during a briefing at the site of the Regional Communications Service. – In the near future, the start of laying gas distribution networks for the seventh launch complex and the implementation of the second stage of work on the first and possibly the second launch complexes are also planned. Among the new territories where work will begin is the precast concrete district.
In the coming years, it is planned to provide gas supply to residents of Uzenka, Finsky settlement, Rudnik-2, Prishakhtinsk, Staraya and Novaya Tikhonovka.
In total, the project provides for four stages of gasification and 16 launch complexes. And as the representative of QAZAQGAZ AIMAQ JSC Manas Baymamyrov noted, by the completion of the project, gas distribution networks will be connected to all subscribers – these are 28 thousand private residential buildings.
To support socially vulnerable segments of the population, one-time assistance is provided to pay for gas connection, which covers the cost of installing equipment, but not more than 100 MCI (393,200 tenge). It is available to pensioners, large families, the disabled, military veterans and other categories. In 2024, 159 families received assistance.
Those who do not fall into these categories, but do not have enough funds to connect to the gas supply, can apply for financial assistance from the Housing Modernization Center.
– An interest-free loan is issued for five years. The loan amount is not more than 1 million 179 thousand tenge. Monthly payments range from 10 to 17 thousand tenge," explained Daniyar Dyusembayev, Director of the Center for Housing Modernization in Karaganda region. – More than 600 subscribers have already passed through this program. And this year we plan to connect 350 more individual residential buildings.
