Akim of Karaganda region Yermaganbet Bulekpayev is holding meetings with labor collectives. The meetings are held at workplaces so as not to interrupt the work of employees of factories and enterprises.

The first such meeting was held at the Maker company's machine-building plant, where the head of the region came with the heads of key departments and agencies.

– We are ready to discuss issues on any topic with you. Enterprise employees, as a rule, cannot come to my regular meetings. That is why I decided to hold a meeting with my colleagues in this way, - said Ermaganbet Bulekpayev to the labor collective. - The President declared this year the Year of Working Professions. This shows how important ordinary workers, specialists are: without them it is difficult to imagine a strong industry and a stable economy. Our task is to ensure decent working conditions, social protection and opportunities for professional growth for each employee.

He noted that almost half of the working-age population in the region is engaged in working professions.

The regional akim also spoke about the clustering of colleges and how this will affect the training of working personnel. Support colleges have been identified in each industry, and there are 8 such colleges in the region. Their material and technical base will be improved and modern equipment for workshops and laboratories will be purchased.

Heads of departments and administrations will work in their areas: transforming vocational and technical education, supporting and developing working professions, improving labor safety, etc. reported on the measures aimed at.

The factory workers were introduced to the joint preferential mortgage program of "Otbasy Bank" and the regional akimat. Now it is available for miners and metallurgists. Machine builders were also invited to join it. "Otbasy Bank" and the akimat are ready to consider proposals from any large companies.

The workers expressed interest in the development of Bolshaya Mikhailovka. They are also concerned about the state of the city's sewage system. The regional akim noted that the current task is to provide the city with 100% centralized water supply, and then they will take up the repair of collectors. Work is scheduled to begin this year.

The meeting asked about the 44 schools that were demolished after being declared unsafe. New ones will be built in their place. Currently, the LSG is being developed.

The factory employees expressed their gratitude for such a meeting and shared their achievements. 

According to the director of Maker LLP, Zhanibek Baigabelov, the enterprise has increased production volumes, 822 people work at the factory, the conditions are good, so employees try to keep their jobs, and there is a low turnover of personnel.
