The Head of the National Defense University, Major General Askar Mustabekov, visited higher education institutions and design bureaus in Almaty.
A meeting was held at Satbaev University with Vice-Rector for Science and Corporate Development Yerzhan Kuldeev. The interlocutors discussed the possibilities of integrating innovative developments into the defense industry. Major General A. Mustabekov got acquainted with the unique research of scientists at the technopark and laboratory.
The National Defense University of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the International University of Information Technologies are implementing a joint scientific project to create an interactive complex of combat training for military personnel and general military units of the tactical level based on virtual reality technology. During the meeting with the developers of the project, the goals, objectives, requirements and some technical aspects of the project were clarified.
The Scientific and Production Enterprise of the Special Design Bureau "Alatau" LLP in Almaty has a laboratory for conducting closed technology of serial production and mechanical and climatic operational tests. This enterprise has licenses for the right to develop and produce military equipment and special technical means. Taking into account these advantages, Major General Askar Mustabekov discussed with his leadership the joint implementation of scientific projects and aspects of experimental and design research in the defense direction.
Thus, the National Defense University of the Republic of Kazakhstan is conducting planned work, uniting the efforts of military scientists and representatives of the civilian sector in the field of defense.
