25 video surveillance cameras were installed this year in the Aksu-Ayuly village of the Shet district. The equipment is located on the main streets of the district center, as well as at the entrances to the settlement and in places where people gather.
According to Aksu-Ayuly akim Darkhan Smailov, the installed devices are equipped with modern functions, including the function of accurate recognition of people's faces and cars.
The cameras are able to determine whether a vehicle or its owner is wanted by analyzing license plates.
All information from the cameras comes to the police department, where employees monitor public order around the clock.
To demonstrate the capabilities and working algorithm of the new video surveillance systems, Darkhan Smailov organized a special presentation for the leadership of the local police department and the district prosecutor's office.
- The introduction of such systems will allow us to respond quickly to incidents, prevent crime, and create safer conditions for our residents, - says the head of the district center. – In addition, cameras help increase public trust in law enforcement agencies.
