In 2024, an average of 818.1 thousand families were covered by state benefits for large families and awarded mothers for a total amount of 546.3 billion tenge, including: benefits for large families for 579.5 thousand families in the amount of 474.1 billion tenge; The awarded mother's allowance was paid to 238.5 thousand people in the amount of 72.1 billion tenge.
Families with 4 or more minor children living together or full-time students under the age of 23 can apply for the state allowance for large families, regardless of their income.
The amount of the payment is calculated based on the number of children and in 2025:
- for families with 4 children - 16.03 MCI or 63,030 tenge;
- for 5 children - 20.04 MCI or 78,798 tenge;
- for 6 children - 24.05 MCI or 94,565 tenge;
- for 7 children - 28.06 MCI or 110,332 tenge;
- for families with 8 or more children - 4 MCI or 15,728 tenge for each child paid.
The allowance for the awarded mother is awarded to mothers who have been awarded the "Altyn Alka", "Kumis Alka" medals or have previously received the title of "Batyr Ana", and have been awarded the "Ana Danky" orders of the 1st and 2nd degree.
The allowance for the awarded mother is paid monthly in the following amounts:
For mothers awarded the "Kumis Alka" medal - 6.40 MCI or 25,165 tenge;
For mothers awarded the "Altyn Alka" medal or have previously received the title of "Batyr Ana", and have been awarded the "Ana Danky" orders of the 1st and 2nd degree - 7.40 MCI or 29,097 tenge.
We note that from January 1, 2025, the amount of state benefits granted to families with children has increased by 6.5%.
