During a working trip to Mugalzhar district, the regional akim visited fire department No. 8 in Kandyagash.
The head of the Mugalzhar district emergency department Maksat Ryatov told the akim that the fire department building was built in 1982. The last major renovation was carried out in 2013. Today, the building houses the district emergency department and the fire department. The number of personnel is 30 people, including 6 officers and 24 sergeants. The fire department has 9 pieces of equipment, including 3 fire trucks and 1 motorized platform.
The regional akim inspected the equipment and talked with the personnel, noting the importance of the work of rescuers.
“The work of rescuers is very important, because every day you risk your lives for the safety of people. "The profession of a rescuer is not just a profession, it is a real feat that requires courage, selflessness and high responsibility," the akim noted.
