Minister of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kanat Sharlapayev met with President of Agriculture in the CIS and Central Asia Chaba Leika.
During the meeting, the prospects of organizing the production of John Deere brand equipment in Kazakhstan were discussed.
«Deere & Company" is an American engineering company that manufactures agricultural, construction and logging equipment. One of the world's largest manufacturers of agricultural machinery with a wide range of products.
The Minister said that John Deere agricultural machinery is in great demand among Kazakhstani agricultural producers due to its high reliability, efficiency and innovative technologies.
In turn, Chaba Leiko noted that the implementation of the project will allow the accelerated renewal of the agricultural machinery park in Kazakhstan.
Following the talks, the parties stressed the importance of continuing negotiations on a joint project.
