On January 24, 2025, the Vice Ministers of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan S.K. Yesimkhanov and E.K. Akkenzhenov met with the Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation R.A. He met with Marshavin.

During the meeting, the participants discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in the fuel and energy sector, including the possibilities of expanding the participation of the Russian side in the development of oil and gas fields and power projects.

Special attention was paid to issues of cooperation in the supply of oil, oil and petrochemical products,    as well as in the transportation of these energy resources. The participants of the meeting expressed their intention to further develop these areas and strengthen energy cooperation between the two countries.
