On January 22, 2025, the III annual report-election congress of the “Kazakhstan Oil and Gas Industry Trade Union” was held in Astana, where the results of the work for 2020-2024 were summarized.
The congress was attended by the Vice Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan A.Zh. Zhamauov, Deputy Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.S. Uteshev, Head of the Administrative Work Department of JSC “NC “KazMunayGas” B.K. Samatov, and the President of the International Confederation of Oil and Gas Construction Trade Unions.
82 delegates from the member organizations of the “KazakhMunayGas” Trade Union from Atyrau, Aktobe, West Kazakhstan, Mangystau and Kyzylorda regions were elected to the III annual report-election congress.
The work of the “Kazakhstan Oil and Gas Industry Trade Union” for the period 2020-2024 and the main activities for 2025-2030 The draft directions were presented by the head of the RK E.E. Mustafina.
In his speech, the Vice Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan A.Zh. Zhamauov noted the importance of cooperation between state bodies and trade unions, saying that "effective interaction is the key to ensuring stability and progress in the oil and gas industry. We must continue to work together to create conditions for the development and improvement of the well-being of workers and their families."
The new chairman of the Public Union "Kazakhstan Oil and Gas Industry Trade Union" was A.Z. Bisenov, who previously served as the deputy chairman of the trade union. Members of the branch council and executive committee of the Public Union "Kazakhstan Oil and Gas Industry Trade Union" were also elected.
The delegates of the III Congress adopted an appeal to the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The work of the Congress ended with the awarding of social partners, heads of member organizations and trade union activists with the Badge of Honor of the Public Union "Kazakhstan Oil and Gas Industry Trade Union".
