The implementation of the National Project "Comfortable School" was reviewed at a meeting with the participation of deputy akims of the regions, heads of education departments, representatives of central government agencies and the construction operator represented by JSC Samruk Kazyna Construction.
On behalf of the Head of State, the National project "Comfortable School" is being implemented in the country, within the framework of which it is planned to build 217 schools of a new format with 460,000 student places by 2026.
By the end of 2024, 105 schools with 254,000 student places have already been built. During the implementation of the national project, special attention is paid to the functionality and safety of the educational environment. There are separate blocks for elementary and high school students. Among the requirements are increased security measures through the introduction of modern technology, the creation of a barrier–free environment for children with special educational needs, and the provision of modern classrooms for schools.
At the end of the meeting, the Minister gave instructions on further high-quality construction and commissioning of facilities.
