In the Shymkent garrison, the head of the defense department, Colonel-General Ruslan Zhaksylykov, visited the Special Operations Forces unit and took part in the unveiling of the monument, a symbol of the unwavering spirit of the soldiers of the advanced formation of the Armed Forces.
On the pedestal is a special forces soldier in combat gear with a weapon. On his arm is a mighty golden eagle with outstretched wings, personifying strength, striving for freedom and lofty goals. "Our strength lies in unity," reads the motto written in the frame of the monument's base.
A solemn ceremony of handing over the Battle Banner took place on the parade ground. He was received by the commander of military unit 36814, Colonel Ulykbek Sak, from the hands of the Minister of Defense.
– This military relic embodies the honor, valor, glory and martial traditions of warriors of the past, present and future. A new page of your unit's service and combat activities begins today. Be faithful to the precepts of your ancestors, and proudly carry the title of a serviceman of the Special Operations Forces," the minister said.
The ritual of handing over the military shrine was replaced by the opening of a new modular building of the unit's management body. Colonel-General Ruslan Zhaksylykov checked the conditions created for the headquarters location and got acquainted with the renovated housing stock.
The head of the department visited the tactical camp and the training and training complex, where practical exercises of special forces take place. The servicemen demonstrated actions to clear the building, storm a car, bus, and evacuate the "wounded" in an armored car. There was also a demonstration of elements of airborne training and exercises with the mobilization reserve.
During the course of overcoming the psychological obstacle course, officers made operational decisions in conditions of limited visibility and a rapidly changing environment.
Having studied the conditions for combat training of military personnel of the unit, the Minister of Defense instructed to increase the combat potential of the unit, designed to perform the most difficult tasks to protect the interests of the state and ensure its defense capability.
