The necessary measures are being taken in the Abai region to stabilize food prices. For example, agricultural fairs are held weekly. This time, the farmers of the Zhanasemey district presented their products at the Severny shopping and logistics center in Semey.
The fair was visited by Deputy akim of the region Kuanysh Suleimenov, who checked the prices on the shelves.
As always, the products at the fair were sold at below-market prices. For example, beef cost 2500 tenge, horse meat — 2500-2700 tenge, potatoes — 240 tenge, cabbage — 140 tenge, carrots — 100 tenge.
The deputy akim noted that fairs will be held in the future, providing consumers with high-quality and natural products without intermediaries.
