A new building of the specialized children's and youth sports school of the Olympic reserve No. 15 in complex martial arts was opened in Shymkent. The opening ceremony was attended by the mayor of the city Gabit Syzdykbekov.
After examining the new building, the head of the megacity met with the staff of the sports school. During the conversation, he noted that the implementation of such significant projects makes a great contribution to the development of sports and the formation of a healthy lifestyle among young people. He wished the coaches good luck in educating future champions, and the athletes successful performances.
It is worth noting that the sports school has educated many successful athletes who have achieved high results at national and international competitions. Among them are Elena Shalygina and Sofya Berultseva.
A new four-storey sports complex with an area of over 2,400 square meters. The complex includes six specialized halls for practicing Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestling, judo, kickboxing, karate, sambo and fitness. The building is also equipped with an elevator, a conference room, bathrooms and showers.
