The Almaty City Planning Control Department announces the demolition of an unfinished multi-level parking lot north of Al-Farabi Avenue, west of Mendykulov Boulevard.
In 2007, SERT JSC began construction of a 5-level parking lot on a leased site.
Since the end of 2009, construction and installation work has been suspended at the 1st-2nd floor level.
In 2015, the temporary land use right was also terminated, after which specialists from Seismostroyzashchita LLP conducted an inspection of the supporting and enclosing structures of the facility.
Experts issued a conclusion on the technical condition of the main supporting structures, and based on the results of the study, it was recommended to dismantle the existing structures.
After the administration, a lawsuit was filed with the court to demolish the unfinished facility. The lawsuits were satisfied by the court's decision of April 25, 2018.
The dismantling of the unfinished facility began today. It should be noted that this is the second object dismantled in the Medeu district.
Also, by court decision, the demolition of an unfinished building on Radlov Street, section 9/1, has begun.
As a reminder, as part of the instructions of Almaty Mayor Yerbolat Dossayev to strengthen construction control, since the beginning of 2023, 65 illegal objects, including "Mechta", KHAN and other residential complexes, have been completely or partially demolished.
