A baby was born at the Turkestan Regional Perinatal Center No. 1 on August 30, 2024 at a gestational age of 26 weeks. The baby, whose weight was 785 grams and length was 32 centimeters, was in very serious condition. According to doctors, the baby was provided with first aid and was admitted to the intensive care unit. Due to the incomplete development of his organs, the baby received full treatment in the intensive care unit.
“After birth, the baby was stabilized on a CPAP machine. After 2 hours, he was transferred to the intensive care unit for infants. The baby received treatment in accordance with the protocol of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and a month later, his weight reached 1100 grams and he was transferred to the highly dependent infant unit. After two months, he began to breathe on his own. "The baby was then given full care and was discharged from the maternity hospital at 4 months and 23 days old, weighing 4,500 grams," says Anel Taspolatovna, a doctor at the regional perinatal center No. 1.
Currently, there is no threat to the life of the mother and child. The child is breathing on his own.
