A meeting of the Journalists and Bloggers Club under the Regional Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan was held. The purpose is to strengthen tolerance, unite the efforts of the media in maintaining public harmony and national unity, discuss the course of events held within the framework of the 30th anniversary of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan and topical issues, proposals, and improve information work.
The participants of the meeting first toured the "House of Friendship" building. And got acquainted with the work of the ANC structures and ethnocultural associations.
The next meeting was attended by the deputy of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, chairman of the ANC Journalists Club Alisher Satvaldiev, deputy akim of the Turkestan region Yertay Altayev, as well as the leadership of the Turkestan regional public development department and the "Public Harmony" KMU, employees of the institution and members of the Journalists and Bloggers Club under the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan of the Turkestan region, well-known journalists in the region, and media representatives. The meeting was chaired by Ersultan Amirbek, Chairman of the Journalists and Bloggers Club under the Turkestan Regional People's Congress.
Speaking at the plenary session, Yertay Altayev, focusing on the work being done in the region to strengthen public harmony, noted that media representatives not only convey information, but also shape citizens' perception of state policy.
In his speech, Alisher Satvaldiev, Deputy of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the Journalists' Club of the People's Congress, noted the need to observe the principles of ethics, as well as to form responsibility among the journalistic community in reporting on interethnic issues.
In addition, during the event, a presentation of the "Shanyrak" creative competition was held among social network users. This competition is organized in connection with the 30th anniversary of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan in 2025 and the declaration of the President as the "Year of Working Professions".
At the same time, social network users will compete for the best entries on the topic "Brothers". The prize fund of the competition is 1 million tenge. The winners and prize-winners of the competition will be awarded on the eve of October 25 - Republic Day.
