The Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan is constantly working to expand the geography of flights and increase the number of flights on existing routes.
Thus, in order to develop tourism, from April 20 of this year, Air Astana will open flights to India on the Almaty-Mumbai route. Flights will be operated three times a week on Airbus aircraft. Thus, passenger flights between the countries will increase to 21 per week on 4 routes of 3 airlines.
Reference:
Currently, regular air services are operated on the Almaty-Delhi (Air Astana and IndiGo airlines operate 7 flights per week), Almaty-Goa (SCAT - 2 flights) and Astana-Goa (Fly Arystan - 2 flights).
The opening of air services will contribute to the further development of trade, economic, business and tourism cooperation between the two countries.
