Three projects in agricultural machinery have been launched this year in Kazakhstan

This year, three new production facilities in the agricultural machinery sector have been launched in Kazakhstan. Their total cost is 5.7 billion tenge. The implementation of the projects allowed the creation of 172 permanent jobs. This was announced by the Directorate of monitoring and analysis of the implementation of projects of the KCE "QazIndustry".
"Enterprises have started to produce self-propelled agricultural machines, trailed and mounted machinery, sprinkler equipment, deep-water heaters and other equipment. Most of the products are aimed at the domestic needs of the country," the message says.
When the projects launched this year reach their design capacity, the volume of products produced, according to forecasts, may reach 107.3 billion tenge.
As the directorate added, the total investment portfolio of agricultural machinery includes 10 projects worth about 26 billion tenge. Their implementation implies the creation of more than 700 jobs.
Five projects worth 18.4 billion tenge are under implementation, providing more than 510 jobs. So, it is planned to produce combines, tractors, heavy harrows, grain carriers and so on. Most of the products will be directed to the domestic market.
"In the future, two more projects worth about 2 billion tenge are being worked out. Together with domestic investors, it is planned to launch the production of various types of agricultural machinery, as well as a repair and maintenance service center," the directorate clarified.
In addition, to attract investments in the industry at the national and local levels, support is provided in the form of investment preferences, preferential credit conditions, and tax breaks within special economic zones.
