The list of warehouse facilities is updated quarterly, which in turn ensures the relevance of data for businesses. To include a warehouse in the list, companies must submit an application to the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan with a package of documents that meet the requirements of the Rules.
In accordance with the order of the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 28, 2025, entrepreneurs approved a list of warehouses where footwear products can be marked after their release to the domestic market or before re-import. According to the rules, companies must submit the following documents with their applications:
documents confirming ownership of the warehouse or the right to lease it;
information on the technical characteristics of the warehouse, including information on the entry and exit of vehicles, entry and exit of people, as well as the video surveillance system.
Today, according to the Analytical Platform, 4,418 participants in the footwear turnover are registered in the labeling system, including: 1,759 importers, 88 manufacturers, 118 wholesalers and 2,453 retail representatives.
Since the introduction of mandatory labeling of footwear products (November 1, 2021), 130.65 million pairs of shoes have been labeled, 40.42 million labeling codes have been put into circulation, of which 39.3 million have been withdrawn from circulation. Since the beginning of the year, 2.52 million pairs of shoes have been labeled, 642 thousand of which have been released into circulation, 584 thousand of which have been withdrawn from circulation.

Pilot projects on labeling have been launched for the following product groups: motor oils, brewing products, jewelry.
