Factories in the Santa Croce sull'Arno area are mainly engaged in leather processing for the manufacture of shoes, clothing, furniture and other goods. They export products to more than 122 countries. The tannery network includes about 600 enterprises employing more than 8000 people.
The akim of the region held negotiations with the head of the Aldo Gliozzi Association Ezio Castellani on the export of cattle skins and the development of leather production in the region.
- The mining industry makes up a large part of the economy of the Kyzylorda region, - said N. Nalibayev. - Mainly, oil is extracted in our region, which ranks first in the republic for the growth of the manufacturing industry. The livestock population in the country and the region is increasing every year, with more than two million heads of livestock registered in our area. It is essential to develop leather and wool processing enterprises. Overall, there is an opportunity to meet market demands and export goods to both nearby and distant countries.
