In the library "Farab" in Turkestan, a visiting plenum "just Kazakhstan: scientists of centuries and writers of Kazakhstan" was held, organized by the Union of writers of Kazakhstan. The meeting was attended by well-known writers and poets of the country, literary critics, scientists and young people.
Writer, Chairman of the Board of the Union of writers of Kazakhstan, Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, holder of the orders "Kurmet", "Parasat", "Barys" of the first degree Mereke Kulkenov opened the meeting. He spoke about the activities of the Union of writers of Kazakhstan, the purpose of the visiting session. Deputy akim of Turkestan region Yertay Altayev delivered a warm greeting to the writers of the region Darkhan Satybaldyn. Secretary of the Union of writers of Kazakhstan, adviser to the general director of the partnership "Kazakh newspapers", laureate of the International Literary Prize "Alash", winner of the order "Kurmet" Zhusupbek Khorgasbek "Golden Gate for the world recognition of Kazakh literature", Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Union of writers of Kazakhstan, poet, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, winner of the order "Parasat" Kassymkhan Begmanov on the topic "scientists, times, years: the role of poets and writers in society", doctor of philology, representative of the Union of writers of Kazakhstan in Pavlodar region Serik Elikbay "just Kazakhstan: the phenomenon of Aulie mashhur", religious scientist, member of the union of writers of Kazakhstan, chief researcher of the Institute of history of Kazakhstan and Central Asia, candidate of Historical Sciences Zikiriya Zhandarbek made a report on "the influence of the teachings of Khoja Ahmed yasawi on the formation of the spiritual and cultural identity of the Kazakh people". Otegen Oralbayev, a poet, publicist, cultural and public figure, also reflected on the spirituality of Turkestan.
During the meeting, an exchange of views was held on the continuity between the ideas of Kazakh scientists and the work of modern writers, the importance of literature on the path of National Spiritual Revival and the creation of a just Kazakhstan. At the debate, several writers expressed their suggestions and opinions.
Within the framework of the plenum, a book exhibition was presented and creative projects were presented. The concert program was presented to the public. In general, this event will become an important dialogue platform for studying historical and modern aspects of national literature.
