This year, in accordance with the requests of residents, construction of irrigation ditches will begin in settlements of the Karatau district where the risk of flooding has been identified.
This project is an important step towards solving the problem of flooding, especially during rainy periods, improving the functioning of infrastructure, as well as ensuring the safety of residents of the district.
The main goal of the ditch construction work is to protect local residents and the city's infrastructure from flooding. Within the framework of the project, irrigation ditches of various lengths will be built. For example, 260 meters of ditches will be constructed along Iirzhar Street in the "Sairam" residential area.
In addition, 370 meters of ditches are planned to be constructed along Zhibek Zholy Street (near the car wash station) in the "Martobe" residential area, and along Orkeniet and Azharly Streets in the "Miras" microdistrict.
In addition, about 700 meters of ditches are planned to be constructed along Tagilym Street (formerly Abay Street) and Orikzar Streets in the "Sairam" residential area. In addition, the main street leading to school No. 139 in the "Sairam" residential area is also included in this plan, and 200 meters of irrigation ditches will be constructed.
Drain construction work will be carried out on 1,700 meters of unnamed streets in the residential area. 500 meters of Saremi Street will also become part of this large-scale project.
And, a 50-meter ditch is planned to be built along Shapagat Street in the "Shapagat" microdistrict. It is planned to build a 350-meter ditch near 100 meters of the Academician's Town in the "Kaitpas" microdistrict and houses No. 135 A, B, B in the "Nursat" microdistrict.
There are also works to build a 400-meter ditch on Children's Hospital Street in the "Nursat" microdistrict and Bakdaulet Street in the "Tasken" residential area. And Tasken, i.e. Baikent Street will be drained to a length of 100 meters.
Also, 20 meters of construction work will be carried out to install a well on Kaharman Street in the "Kaitpas" microdistrict.
This large-scale project is an important measure to prevent floods in the Karatau district. The construction of irrigation ditches will make a significant contribution to solving environmental and social problems, creating favorable conditions for the daily life of residents.
After the completion of the project, the risk of flooding will be reduced, creating a safe and comfortable living environment for the residents of the district.
In addition, these works are one of the important steps being taken to improve the infrastructure of the district and develop the territory.
