The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan announces a competition for the election of members of the new composition of the Public Council on issues of the activities of internal affairs bodies.
The composition of the Public Council will consist of 30 people.
Candidates for the Public Council will be subject to the requirements provided for in Article 10 of the Law "On Public Councils":
1) A citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan who has reached the age of eighteen may be a candidate for membership in the Public Council.
2) A candidate for membership in the Public Council must not have a criminal record, not be found guilty by a court in the manner prescribed by law of committing a corruption crime and (or) a corruption offense, and must not be registered in healthcare organizations for mental illness, alcoholism, drug addiction or intoxication.
At the same time, when forming public councils at the republican level, one person can be elected as a member of only one Public Council.
To participate in the competition The following are required:
1) a written proposal from a non-profit organization and (or) a citizen's application to nominate a candidate to the Public Council;
2) information on the candidate's professional and (or) public activities, indicating biographical data;
3) a certificate on the presence or absence of a criminal record;
4) a certificate on the presence or absence of mental and behavioral disorders (illnesses), including disorders associated with the use of substances that actively affect the psyche;
5) the candidate's consent to the collection, processing, distribution and publication of personal data.
Candidates who do not meet the established requirements will not be admitted to the competition.
Proposals for candidacies to the Public Council can be submitted within 10 days from the date of publication of the relevant announcement to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 010000, Astana, Tauyelsizdik Avenue, 1, as well as to the e-mail address: ku.elyubaev@mvd.gov.kz (Contact numbers 8-7172-72-26-69).
