A program for the training of akims has begun in Mangystau

Today, February 17, the program for improving the skills of elected district and village akims began at the Agency for Civil Service Affairs with the participation of Deputy Prime Minister Kanat Bozumbayev and Chairman of the Agency for Civil Service Affairs Darkhan Zhazykbay.
The opening ceremony of the event was attended by the Governor of Mangystau region Nurdaulet Kilybay, Head of the Department of the Agency for Civil Service Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Mangystau region Toktamys Zhumagulov, representatives of "AMANAT" and other political parties in the country via video link.
The program for improving the skills of akims is being implemented in accordance with the instructions of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. The training is carried out through 17 modules. Specifically, the topics include effective use of the local budget, public procurement and taxes, management of municipal property, ecology and environmental protection, entrepreneurship development and state support, attracting investment to the region, using digital technologies, artificial intelligence tools in public administration, developing effective communications and other skills.
The head of the region, Nurdaulet Kilybay, wished success to the akims who came to improve their professional skills and instructed them to use the knowledge and experience they gained to develop the region.
"The head of state, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, at an expanded meeting of the Government, instructed to improve the skills of akims. This will strengthen the responsibility of akims at all levels and allow them to improve their experience. It is clear that the project being implemented at the republican level will pave the way for the development and prosperity of the country. Therefore, use the opportunity effectively. I am confident that this, in turn, will bring new impetus to local governance," said the regional akim, Nurdaulet Kilybay.
It should be noted that the program includes practical exercises, interactive discussions, trainings, meetings with experts in the fields of economics, public administration, and law, and 240 academic hours of training in offline and online formats. At the end of the training, the akims will defend their projects related to the economic development of the regions.
