On the instructions of the Head of State, Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov and Head of the Presidential Administration Aibek Dadebay participated in a meeting of deputies of the East Kazakhstan region maslikhats.
During the meeting, a letter from the Head of State on nominating two candidates for the position of Akim of the East Kazakhstan Region - First Deputy Akim of the East Kazakhstan Region Nurymbet Saktaganov and Akim of the Ulan District of the East Kazakhstan Region Arman Bekbosynov - was read to the deputies.
According to the results of an open vote, the deputies supported the candidacy of Nurymbet Saktaganov, 104 out of 148 deputies voted for him, while 41 deputies supported Arman Bekbosynov.
The Head of State signed a Decree on the appointment of Akim of the East Kazakhstan Region Nurymbet Amanuly Saktaganov.
