On January 10, 2025, the Head of State and the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Amendments and Additions to the Code of Administrative Offenses" was signed. The law is aimed at regulating a new type of administrative punishment "community service", determining the mechanism for its implementation and further improving administrative tort legislation. The norms of the law (with the exception of some postponed provisions) will enter into force 60 days after their official publication.
