The issues of juvenile delinquency in the Aktobe region were considered at a meeting of the interdepartmental commission chaired by the regional akim, Askhat Shakharov.
The meeting was attended by law enforcement agencies, representatives of the prosecutor's office, city and district akims, and heads of a number of departments.
The agenda included the work of the Commission on Juvenile Affairs and the prevention of juvenile delinquency, the implementation of the plan for the implementation of the Concept of Ensuring Public Safety for 2024-2028 approved by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 2023, measures taken by the akims of the city of Aktobe, Oyyl, Martok and Kargaly districts to prevent delinquency, and other issues.
Deputy akim of the region, Zholdas Batyrkhan, who made a report at the meeting, noted that juvenile delinquency had decreased by 25%, but despite the positive dynamics, there were still unresolved issues in this area. translated.
Half of the children who violated the law have never been put under control, which indicates the inadequacy of early detection of deviant behavior by educational organizations. The speaker emphasized the need to improve the quality of work with risk groups in this regard.
First Deputy Head of the Aktobe Regional Police Department, Police Colonel Ardana Saimagambetov, presented statistics on traffic accidents in the region and noted an increase in the number of accidents last year. According to her, currently 130 automated complexes that detect traffic violations are being used in the region, and to ensure safety, reinforced police detachments have been deployed on dangerous sections of highways, 15 mobile complexes "Avtouragan" and unmanned drones are being used, with the help of which more than 50 thousand administrative violations have been detected.
City Mayor Azamat Beket spoke about the measures being taken to prevent violations. He noted that the crime rate has decreased, but there is a need to further strengthen preventive measures, and to socially adapt minors and vulnerable groups of the population.

“To increase the safety of citizens and reduce the level of delinquency, it is necessary to develop and implement additional programs to prevent delinquency among adolescents and young people, as well as organize additional classes on legal education in educational institutions. Law enforcement agencies, together with local akimats, should interact on these issues. It is also necessary to strengthen support for families in difficult life situations, as well as children and adolescents registered with internal affairs bodies or social services. Each of us must contribute to preventing crime and improving the social situation in the region. "Only through joint efforts can we ensure stability and security in our region," the akim noted.
