The family ecological challenge "My Yard!", which began among art collectives in the capital, continues, the official website of the Astana akimat reported.
The goal of the event is to help the collective keep the yard clean, mobilize family members in a common cause, and instill a sense of care and responsibility in children. The initiative aims to instill in children a love of hard work, respect for their homeland, form an ecological culture in society, and strengthen unity.
The challenge will be attended by cultural workers from institutions under the Astana City Department of Culture and their family members. During the challenge, employees, together with their family members, clean the yard of their house from snow and garbage, and pass the baton on to other colleagues on social networks.
The challenge was first launched by employees of the Azerbaijan Mambetov Drama and Comedy Theater. Later, other cultural groups supported the initiative.
"The staff of the State Academic Philharmonic named after E. Rakhmadiev actively participated in the "Clean Kazakhstan" environmental campaign and supported the "My Yard" challenge. During the event, employees cleaned their areas, encouraged children to work, and contributed to the formation of a culture of environmental protection. In order to encourage children, they were offered sweets. The Philharmonic's staff supports this challenge and will continue to contribute to the prosperity of Kazakhstan," said Aruzhan Samarkanova, press secretary of the State Academic Philharmonic named after Erkegali Rakhmadiev.
