Kazakhstan Championship in Kusbegilik: Capital youth emerge victorious

The 16th Republic of Kazakhstan Championship in eagle hunting among juniors and youth, held in the village of Koksayek, Tole Bi district of the Turkestan region, has come to an end, the official website of the capital's akimat reports.
Despite the foggy and difficult weather conditions, eagle hunters prepared for the competition with great care and showed their skills.
The first day of the competition was held among juniors, where 22 eagles, 27 falcons and 10 falcons competed. On the second day, 22 eagles, 21 falcons and 9 falcons participated in the competition among youth.
Athletes from Astana participated in the national championship and won. Yerasyl Serikbekuly won the gold medal in eagle hunting among juniors. Dias Kuntugan was among the top three in the Karshiga bird sculpture, and Erasyl Serikbekuly was among the top three in the Itelgi bird sculpture.
The best bird sculptors from 9 regions of the country (Almaty, Atyrau, Zhambyl, Zhetysu, Karaganda, East Kazakhstan, Turkestan, Kyzylorda, Ulytau) and two major cities (Astana, Almaty) participated in this championship, glorifying our national art and determining the strongest among themselves.
