The regional stage of the festival of creative collectives was held within the framework of the 30th anniversary of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan.
The event, organized with the aim of strengthening the harmony and unity of the people of Kazakhstan, was attended by chairmen and representatives of ethnocultural associations, art collectives.
During the festival, artists of various ethnic groups from districts and cities of the region competed individually and in groups in performing folk songs, dancing, and playing folk instruments.
The festive event was attended by Nursultan Seitzhanov, Deputy Head of the Turkestan Regional Department of Social Development - Head of the Assembly Secretariat, Elmira Zhangazieva, Aruzhan Abdykadir, an artist of the Alkonyr folklore ensemble of the Congress Hall multi-disciplinary complex, Bekbolat Serik, a traditional singer of the Zhana Lep collective, and Akzhol Abibulla, an artist of the Samgau dance ensemble, served as judges.
According to the judges' decision, the "Guncha" folk song and dance ensemble of the Sairam district won the group performance of folk songs. In this competition, the "Doniyor-Fayz" group of the Kazygurt district took 2nd place, and the "Dostyk" ensemble of the Sauran district took 3rd place. In the dance competition, the Kentau city double art collective - the "Rapsodia Zhastary" dance group - took 1st place, and the "Rapsodia" dance group took 2nd place. The creative group "Gratsiya" of the "Zhana Tolykny" youth club of Tolebi district took 3rd place.
Singers from Sauran also excelled in the under-18 song contest. Umida Erkinova, who sang the song "Otan" with great skill, won, while Giesiddin Rakhmiddinov took 2nd place with the song "Okinbe sen". Mushtaribanu Khusniddin from Kazygurt rounded out the top three with the song "Uly dala".
Muratzhan Atazhanov from Sauran, who took 1st place in the over-18 song contest, performed the song "Kogaly-ay" first and received applause from the audience. In this competition, Roza Seitkasymova from Arys took 2nd place with the song "Akerke akzhaiyk", and Rufat Khodzhiev from Zhetysai took 3rd place with the song "Elim mening".
During the festival, which demonstrated the unshakable golden bridge of peace between ethnic groups, the deputy head of the department awarded the creative teams that participated in the high-level holding of the event with "Letters of Appreciation". The artists and creative teams that won prizes at the regional stage will now compete in the republican competition.
At the end of the festival, which was a symbol of peace, representatives of the ethnic groups sang the song "Atameken" together, bringing the evening to a close.
