Akim of the Turkestan region Nuralkhan Kusherov met with Ukrainian investors. Representatives of the UBC Group company met with Igor Burdilenko and Yuri Svetlichny and discussed the status of the project being implemented in the region. Ukrainian investors expressed gratitude to the regional leadership for creating favorable conditions and supporting the work.
Regional akim Nuralkhan Kusherov said that he would strengthen the partnership and support the launch of the next stages of the plant.
- This investment project is very important for us. We are ready to provide the necessary land and infrastructure to open production lines. We have an industrial zone and special economic zones. Our President declared 2025 the "Year of Working Professions". At the same time, we also expect your support in training qualified specialists to attract local youth to these enterprises. We are ready to jointly carry out specialist training and provide colleges with the necessary grants, - said the regional akim.
Igor Burdilenko announced that he is working together with a college in Kentau and attracting young people to work. Work in this direction will continue in the future.
Today, an enterprise for the production of refrigeration equipment and freezer shelves has started operating in the "Small Industrial Park" in the Turkestan region. The UBC Group holding, which imports its products to Central Asian countries, has decided to open two large production lines in the Turkestan region. The first stage will cost 5 million euros and create about 350 jobs, and investments will also be made in the second plant, which will be built in the future. As a result, it is planned to produce up to 10 thousand units of refrigeration equipment per month and employ about a thousand people.
