Work is underway to create a modern open-air archaeological park "Kultobe settlement". Akim of the Turkestan region Nuralkhan Kusherov visited the settlement and listened to the proposals and opinions of specialists regarding the project. He instructed those responsible for the project to study foreign experience in this area, learn from its advantages, and carry out the work with high quality.
Today, the metal structures and dome roofs of the Kultobe settlement have been installed. Infrastructure has been installed around it. These works are being carried out in strict accordance with UNESCO requirements.
In the near future, a proposal has been made to build buildings with a reception center and a museum in the Kultobe settlement. These buildings will present archaeological monuments of the Kanly era, the Middle Ages, and the Kazakh Khanate, as well as information about that period to the public. In addition, interactive walls may be installed and the latest technology may be introduced.
In general, the concept of this project is still being discussed and an appropriate decision made. It is expected that in the future, the city of Turkestan will be replenished with another historical and tourist center. The town with a deep history will be promoted to the public, and the ancient settlements and relics found here will be presented to the attention of tourists.
