An expanded meeting of the Educational and Methodological Association in the field of personnel training "Audit and Taxation" was held at the L.N.Gumilev Eurasian National University
The event brought together representatives of government agencies, higher education institutions, employers and professional associations, as well as international experts from Poland, the United Kingdom and the United States, who discussed current challenges and prospects for training specialists in the field of audit and taxation.
The meeting began with a plenary session, at which the Chairman of the Board, Rector of the L.N. Gumilyov ENU Yerlan Battashuly Sydykov, Member of the Supreme Audit Chamber Engel Julia Fedorovna, Professor of the Warsaw University of Technology Nadia Shmygol and other experts spoke. In their speeches, they stressed the importance of digitalization and the introduction of modern technologies into educational processes, and also outlined key priorities for training personnel in the field of Audit and Taxation.
Special attention was drawn to the speech by Arman Tursunovna Bekturova, Deputy General Director for Economics and Finance of QAZAQGAZ AIMAQ JSC, who emphasized the importance of personnel produced by L.N.Gumilev ENU. She noted the high level of training of university specialists, their ability to adapt to the rapidly changing conditions of the modern labor market and digital transformation. According to her, employers need professionals who not only have deep knowledge, but are also ready for practical challenges. Bekturova's speech was a vivid example of successful interaction between business and educational institutions, and also emphasized the need to develop partnerships to train competitive specialists.
A round table on the topic was also held: "Modern trends in personnel training in the areas of Audit and Taxation and State Audit in the context of digital transformation." The round table was held as part of the implementation of the IRN program: BR21882352 "Development of a new paradigm and concept for the development of public audit, recommendations for improving the management quality assessment system and the effective use of national resources."
Special attention at the round table was attracted by the performances of foreign participants who shared their unique experiences and approaches. Professor of the University of Northampton (UK) Jill Gourlay presented innovative methods of developing educational programs such as CAIeRO and Postmortem. Professor at the University of Illinois (USA) Steven Parente spoke about the use of artificial intelligence in the US government audit system, highlighting the opportunities and prospects for digitalization in this area.
In general, this event has become a platform for the exchange of experience and discussion of relevant approaches to the development of human resources, which will contribute to strengthening international cooperation and improving educational programs in the field of audit and taxation.
