At a briefing in the CCS, Akim of Zhambyl region Erbol Karashukeev said that 577.1 thousand square meters of housing were commissioned in 10 months of 2024 (plan - 750.0 thousand square meters).
Housing construction is intensively underway in the region, and entire neighborhoods are being built in Taraz as part of state programs.
By the end of the year, it is planned to hand over 41 houses for 2024 apartments out of 78 houses under construction for 3,709 apartments.
1,575 apartments worth 23.2 billion tenge were purchased in the region for large families and citizens from socially vulnerable categories.
This year, budget funds have been allocated twice as much for housing construction and purchase of apartments: in 2023 - 23.2 billion tenge, in 2024 - 40.8 billion tenge.
Due to the construction and purchase of apartments, it is planned to provide housing for 1,963 families from socially vulnerable categories, which is 75% more than last year. 140 young families will receive housing within the framework of the "Aulieata Zhastary" project.
E.Karashukeev informed journalists about the work on the modernization of housing and communal infrastructure.
This year, 68 projects are being implemented in the region (22 SNPs – construction of a water supply facility, 15 SNPs - installation of complex modular units) for 21.5 billion tenge. By the end of the year, the indicator in terms of water supply will be brought to 98.1%.
The speaker announced the launch of a large–scale gasification project for 9 settlements of the Moyinkum district, the only district that is not provided with natural gas.
In the region, 285 households (1,113 million inhabitants) are provided with natural gas. This year, 3 settlements (5.0 thousand people) have been gasified within the framework of 12 projects. The level of gasification in terms of population has been brought to 91.3%.
A project is being implemented in the region to build an automatic gas distribution station Eurochem-Karatau (Sarysu district), which makes it possible to implement one of the major industrial projects for the production of sulfuric acid and mineral fertilizers.
The reconstruction of the main heating main M-1 in Taraz, central boiler houses in the cities of Karatau and Zhanatas has been carried out.
Next year, it is planned to begin the reconstruction of heating networks and the M-3 heating main in the regional center.
710 km of roads are covered by construction, reconstruction and repair works. By the end of 2024, the share of local roads in good and satisfactory condition will increase to 99%, and for streets in populated areas this figure will be 87%.
