Zhambyl farmers received subsidies in the amount of 20.8 billion tenge for the first 10 months of 2024. Akim of the region Yerbol Karashukeyev told about key indicators in agriculture and measures of state support for farmers, speaking at a briefing in the CCS.
In total, 24.6 billion tenge has been allocated for subsidizing the agro-industrial complex this year. 14.9 billion tenge of investments were attracted to the industry.
The total sown area was 626.7 thousand hectares. Harvesting of all types of crops has been completed, with the exception of sugar beet, 3.6 million tons of harvest have been harvested.
600 thousand tons of sugar beet were harvested with an average yield of 650 kg/ha. Merken and Aksu factories accept crops for processing
134 thousand tons of agricultural products worth $ 26.2 million were exported (in 2023, 53 thousand tons worth $ 18.2 million).
3.4 billion tenge has been allocated from the local budget to subsidize sugar beet, 5 billion tenge is expected from the republican budget by the end of the year.
This year, a program for leasing agricultural machinery was launched, within the framework of which 244 units of equipment were purchased for 3.2 billion tenge. The update rate was 8%.
Since the beginning of the year, 12 investment projects worth 10.8 billion tenge have been launched in the agro-industrial complex, 163 jobs have been created.
As part of scaling up the experience of North Kazakhstan Region, the construction of 4 dairy farms for 1,913 heads is being completed, which will be introduced in 2025 and will increase annual milk production by 15 thousand tons. It is also planned to put into operation 5 more modern vegetable storages (capacity 32 thousand tons).
Projects on water-saving technologies, processing of hides and wool, production of apple juice, baby puree, fish feed, French fries were financed for 8.5 billion tenge.
Together with the Chinese company Fufeng Group, the implementation of a unique project for our country for the deep processing of 500 thousand tons of corn per year has begun.
Within the framework of the Auyl Amanaty project, in 2023-2024, more than 4 thousand projects worth 25.5 billion tenge were financed in 38 rural districts.
Since this year, financing the development of small and medium-sized businesses has become a key area, loans will be issued to individual entrepreneurs up to 9.2 million tenge and cooperatives up to 29.5 million tenge for up to 5 years at 2.5% per annum.
E.Karashukeev informed the media about the progress of the execution of the President's instructions to increase the area of irrigated agriculture.
According to the project, which is carried out at the expense of loans from international banks, 183 canals with a length of 608 km were reconstructed in 6 districts (Baizak, Zhambyl, Zhualy, Kordai, Merke, Shu). As a result, the water availability of irrigated lands with an area of 47.5 thousand hectares has increased.
Water-saving technologies have been implemented on 55.4 thousand hectares.
Kazakh Industrial Stroi (PRC) has launched the production of concrete coatings for canals in the region, Kazkaspi Hydro (PRC) - the production of drip irrigation systems, ANS PLAST (Kazakhstan) - the production of sprinkler equipment and PVC pipes.
