Akim of Turkestan region Darkhan Satybaldy began his business trip to Zhetysai district with an acquaintance with the work of a small workshop for the production of shoes in Sh.Dildabekov rural district.
Today under the leadership of Saken Shorayev "Sh.S.In Samruk LLP, 30 villagers are employed on a permanent basis. The production capacity is 250 thousand pairs of shoes per year, and today 800 pairs of shoes are produced in about 30 types of shoes per day.
The governor of the region instructed to strengthen the work on the development of small businesses in districts and cities, the opening of workshops and production facilities.
According to him, the entrepreneur from China invested 500 million tenge at the expense of personal funds for the launch of the enterprise. Today, along with local markets, shoes from Zhetysai are sold in retail outlets in Astana, Almaty and Shymkent.
The production facility, which has been operating non-stop for two years, can fully withstand the competition. This is due to the fact that the products produced are of high quality, although the price is low. The head of the production facility, which makes shoes in size from 25 to 45 sizes, intends to increase both the scale and capacity of the enterprise in the future. Thus, they plan to increase the number of employees and turn their domestic products into brands.
It should be noted that Turkestan region has developed and adopted a plan for the development of districts and cities until 2030. These documents give priority to increasing the volume of regional products, increasing production facilities. At the regional level, a pool of 145 important investment projects has been prepared in the fields of energy, agro-industrial complex, production and processing, tourism, which will give a new impetus to the prosperity of the region. Through the implementation of these projects, it is planned to create more than 20 thousand new jobs.
