On behalf of the Akim of Turkestan region Darkhan Satybaldy, work is systematically underway in Zhetysai district to improve the environmental situation, gasification of the population and social and business facilities, as well as providing high-quality drinking water supply. As a result of the work performed, 60 out of 105 settlements of the district are provided with natural gas, and the share of users of "blue fuel" is 57.1%.
Since the beginning of the year, a total of 3.4 billion tenge has been allocated from the republican, regional and local budgets for the construction and installation of 29 facilities in the district.
Today, during a working trip to Zhetysai district, Akim of Turkestan region Darkhan Satybaldy took part in the commissioning ceremony of a gas pipeline that will provide gas to residents of the settlement of Karasakal in the Kyzylkum rural district. He congratulated the locals on this event.
Previously, residents of Karasakal used coal for heating, and now they will use "blue fuel". The total estimated cost of the gas pipeline is 647.4 million tenge, its length is 23.659 kilometers. The number of subscribers is 95, and the population is more than 500 people.
It should be noted that the construction of this main gas pipeline passing through 10 settlements has been completed, and 1,216 subscribers now have the opportunity to use natural gas. In honor of the Independence Day holiday, gas will be supplied to the settlements of Abai rural district of Zh.Yeralieva, Halyktar dostygy in Abai rural district and Atakonys, Abdyhalyk, Myrzashol in Zhana auyl rural district. At the moment, construction and installation work has been fully completed, technical documents are being drawn up.
Industry experts predict that by the end of the year the level of gasification in the area will be 70.4%, and by 2027 this figure will reach 100%.
It is worth noting that over the past two years, natural gas has been supplied to 187 thousand residents or more than 90 settlements in the region. As a result, the total number of people provided with gas will amount to 1 million 820 thousand people, or 84.9% of the population (557 settlements).
