During his working trip, Akim of Turkestan region Darkhan Satybaldy visited a sports complex in the village of Orkeniyet in Maktaaral rural district, recently commissioned under the Auyl – El Besigi program. The facility, the construction of which began in 2023 and was completed this year, was built for 600 million tenge. The head of the region met with athletes and coaches, discussed current issues and assured that support for the sports industry will continue.
The sports complex is equipped with a large gym and training facilities. There are conditions for practicing sports such as volleyball, basketball, futsal, handball, wrestling, boxing, judo and others. The complex is equipped with all necessary sports equipment. In addition, the complex has an artificial turf football field, as well as basketball and volleyball courts.
Akim of the district Bakhyt Asanov said that earlier in the village of Myrzakent, the Kazhymukan Munaitpasov central stadium, the Myrzakent sports palace and more than 20 small sports grounds were built and put into operation.
Darkhan Satybaldy also got acquainted with the construction of rental residential buildings for large and low-income families in the village of Atakent within the framework of the Nurly Zher program. Four two-storey houses with 24 apartments are being built in accordance with all standards and will be commissioned by the end of the year. 87 such apartments are under construction in the district as a whole. Earlier, 76 apartments were provided to large low-income families within the framework of the Nurly Zher program. Currently, more than 2 thousand families of various categories are on the waiting list for housing.
