In honor of the fact that Turkestan became the tourist capital of the Turkic world, the Regional Art Festival "Onerli olke" continued in the region this year. Today, the Regional Center summed up the results of the festival and awarded the winners. Deputy akim of the region Yertay Altayev awarded the winning and prize-winning districts.
- This year marks the sixth anniversary of the establishment of the Turkestan region. Although the name goes back millennia, the structure is new for our region, this time has become a period of renewal and development. As you know, within the framework of the instruction of the head of state Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on granting Turkestan a special status, a special bill has been developed and is under consideration by the Parliament. This is an important task assigned to our region, an initiative that requires high responsibility. Cultural experts will also make a great contribution to the implementation of these good deeds. A special attraction for residents and guests of the city was the traditionally organized Regional Art Festival "Onerli olke". Art collectives from the district and the city, talented young people showed a perfect combination of our national values and contemporary art. I would like to express my gratitude to everyone who contributed to this festival and performed at a high level, " Yertai Kenzhebekovich said.
By the decision of the jury, the artists of Saryagash district, who won the main prize, were awarded the statuette "Onerli olke". The first place was taken by Sauran and Sozak districts, the second place was taken by Ordabasy, Kazygurt and Zhetysay districts, the third place was taken by Tulkubas and Otyrar districts and the city of Turkestan. The winners and prize-winning districts were awarded financial prizes and special diplomas.
In addition, special prizes were awarded. The diploma for participation in the festival was awarded to Sairam and Baidibek, Tolebi district. A special prize of the Akim of the region was awarded to the city of Kentau with the prize "Tugan zher - Altyn besigim" Arys, a special prize "Auylym – Altyn tugyrym" Maktaaral district, a special prize "Onerli olke" Shardara district, a special prize "Kuletim mereyim" Keles district.
During the event, a number of cultural workers were awarded letters of thanks from the organizing committee to the winners of the regional competition among rural houses of culture and clubs "Auyl – madeniyet bastau" and cultural workers who organized the events organized by the region at the highest level at the V World Nomad game in Astana.
At the festival, the jury evaluated several requirements and determined the winners. Exhibitions of artists, craftsmen, national cuisine, book exhibitions dedicated to the history, achievements of the district, city, theatrical performances dedicated to traditions and Customs, National Games, concert programs dedicated to traditional art, folk theater performances such as street theater, national sports games, gala concert of artists of the district, city, audience involvement in the event, the level of Organization of the festival in each city, district were taken into account.
It should be noted that the festival was opened by artists of Sairam district. The event was organized in order to develop our national art and increase the tourist potential of Turkestan. This festival was held on Friday and Saturday every week in Turkestan from June to October. There, art groups from districts and cities performed for turkestans and guests of the city. In addition, exhibitions of artists and craftsmen were organized.
