On December 5, 2024, a solemn event dedicated to the Day of the Bar of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held at the Ministry of Justice.
In his speech, Minister of Justice Azamat Eskarayev stressed the importance of the role of lawyers in ensuring the rule of law, noted that the bar plays a key role in protecting the rights and freedoms of citizens, as well as in strengthening public confidence in the country's legal system.
As part of the solemn program, by Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 4, 2024 No. 725, 5 lawyers were awarded state awards - medals "Eren enbegi usin", a number of lawyers were awarded departmental awards of justice bodies and letters of thanks for outstanding results in their professional activities, for a significant contribution to improving the system of advocacy, improving the quality of legal assistance and development human rights work.
The event was attended by the Republican Bar Association, members of the bar community, deputies of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan and employees of the structural divisions of the Ministry.
The event became an important platform for summarizing the work of the Kazakh bar.
