Since 2016, Kazakhstan has been operating a system to guarantee the rights of citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of outbound tourism, its administrator is the Turistik Kamkor Foundation. The participants of the system are outbound tourism tour operators, who undertake to issue a travel code to each tourist.
A tour code is a unique alphanumeric value, by checking which a tourist can be sure that his flight and accommodation are paid for by the tour operator to the receiving party and the airline. This unique mechanism guarantees tourists their return to the country if the tour operator who formed the tour cannot fulfill its obligations or in the event of an emergency/ emergency. You can check it on the Administrator's website or in the Turkod mobile application. The application also provides a list of travel agencies to choose from, information about the country of stay, contact details of embassies and consulates of Kazakhstan.
The app is already available for download on the AppStore and GooglePlay.
In addition, only the tourist who purchased the tour, formed by the tour operator and implemented by the travel agent, can receive the tour code. When choosing an agency, be sure to specify whether they issue a travel code. Sign a travel service agreement and request documents (cash receipt confirming payment, voucher, insurance policy, etc.).
